Young Bucks Injured After AEW Full Gear Match

Following their Full Gear match up teaming with Adam Cole to take on Jurassic Express and Christian Cage, Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks have revealed that they are both not medically cleared to wrestle after the November 13th match.

During the latest episode of “Being The Elite”, Matt Jackson revealed, legitimately that he has injured his neck in the brutal Falls Count Anywhere Match and that his brother Nick has also re-injured his foot. Matt had the following to say about the issue.

“I’m not medically cleared to even wrestle. Nick is not medically cleared to wrestle. He reinjured his bruised heel, the one I made fun of, that was a real injury. Joke is on me. Now my neck is kind of giving me grief.”

Also after Full Gear it has been reported that former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega had in fact been working injured during the highly anticipated title match against former Tag Team Partner and Friend Hangman Adam Page. Omega stated that he wanted to finish the feud they both started before taking time off to heal multiple injuries. This was also evidenced during last weeks AEW Dynamite in a backstage segment between Omega, Adam Cole and the Young Bucks.

Following reports that Omega himself needs to have surgeries to fix multiple injuries, it was announced that Omega will in fact vacate the only title he had left, the AAA Mega Championship, as reported by Real Rasslin’s Josh P on November 22nd.

If the Young Bucks are not going to be cleared to wrestle for some time, what could this mean for Adam Cole and the push he has been receiving since he joined the company at AEW All Out, in Chicago? Was last week’s AEW Rampage Main Event result the start of a program with former Undisputed Era member Bobby Fish, to keep Cole on television while the Young Bucks recover?
