In an article we posted last week, it was reported that WWE Hall of Famer "Road Dogg" (real name Brian James) had been hospitalised following an apparent heart attack.

As noted by James' wife, Tracey, she had revealed over the weekend that he had suffered an apparent heart attack last Thursday night after returning home from Orlando, where he'd been working backstage during the NXT TV Tapings. In an instagram post, she had posted an update

Here's what she had this to say:

“Wanna give everybody an update I just got the best birthday ever!! my husband has no blockages and he’s getting to come home today we still have some doctor visits to take him to but his heart is good. Thank you all so much for all the prayers I do believe in that.”

James had taken to Facebook ealier this afternoon following his wifes announcement and posted an update himself for his fans. He had said he was headed home and that he's got some work to do, he also mentioned that he'd be making changes in regards to his health.

Here's what he said below:

“To God be the glory, I live to tell the story! I’m headed home. I’ve got some work to do and some changes to make but I’m up to the task. I want to thank EACH and EVERY one of you for your thoughts and prayers and your kind words. So many reached out with positive vibes and it overwhelmed me with love. Thank you all and God is good! Let the journey begin! #OUDK # GBU #LIVEARMSTRONG,”

James is an important figure in NXT and the process backstage, however there's no word on when he'll return or if he'll be back for the spectacular Two-Night "Stand and Deliver" event which takes place during Wrestlemania 37 week.

All of us here at Real Rasslin are happy to hear this positive news, and we wish all the best for the New Age Outlaw!
