Vince to leave post as Head of Creative

Following on from tonights story, Vince McMahon has not only retired from his role as chairman and CEO of WWE, it's now been reported that he is also going to be stepping down as Head of Creative for WWE.

Vince has been Head of Creative for WWE for 40 years, starting in 1982 when he purchased the company from his father. In this time he has been seen on-screen as both a wrestler and authority figure, but was also leading things behind the scenes.

Also in this story, while it has not been confirmed as truth yet, it is rumoured that Brock Lesnar has left SmackDown tonight and in a pissed off state, allegedly saying: "If he's gone, I'm gone, too." after learning of Vince's retirement, leading them to also be considering bringing in Goldberg for SummerSlam, should Brock not turn up. It's unknown whether or not Brock fulfilled his duties for that evening.
