RUSH Confirms His ROH Contract Expires In January
RUSH has revealed his contract with ROH is set to expire in January 2022, and has stated he is open to any and all offers that come his way from other companies.
Talking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, the former ROH World Champion said that he has not as of now spoken to ROH about a contract renewal with the promotion.
RUSH stated that he enjoys a challenge, saying:
“My contract expires in January (2022), So far, we have not talked about a contract renewal. I am very grateful to ROH. I am also a man of challenged and goals, and i’m open to listening to everyone.”
RUSH’s most recent match was a pre-taped 8-man bout that aired on the 3rd September edition of ROH. At Glory By Honor on August 21st, RUSH unfortunately suffered a knee injury which required surgery.
ROH previously stated that RUSH would be out of the squared circle for the remainder of 2021. As RUSH’s contract is set to expire early January 2022, it is possible that he could be a free agent by the time he steps foot back into the squared circle.
