ROH star Dalton Castle Becomes A Free Agent.
Where next for the former Ring of Honor World Champion?
It has been announced that Ring Of Honor star Dalton Castle's contract has now expired, and he has declared himself a free agent.
However, there has been an offer laid out to Castle, and it's more than possible that it's a great deal. Castle has had an important role within the company in the past few years.
While he hasn't yet signed this deal, he could be considering other options within other companies. It's well known that Castle has all the charisma in him that most other wrestlers would love to have.
What could hinder him slightly though while considering his options is that it's well documented he has back problems, sustained while he was ROH World Champion.
At a still relatively young age of 34, him having these back issues could make it a hard sell as after the injury, it did slow him down and he wasn't as fluent as he once was. This shows his resolve and his character as he continued to wrestle, but focused on his tag team with his tag partner Joe Hendry, who is currently unable to travel and is stuck in the UK.
Fans have made speculation as to where Castle could end up signing. WWE, AEW or even IMPACT!
However, fans have also speculated that he may not pass a WWE physical test and AEW's roster is stacked with talent. While his physical condition is improving, it may still be the case the he will re-sign with ROH, staying in some sort of backstage role to help talent and strengthen the company.
