Rock N' Roll Express announce farewell tour

The legendary tag team are going on one last run.

Rock N' Roll Express announce farewell tour

The 2017 WWE Hall of Fame tag team Rock N' Roll Express look to be hanging up their boots as a team with a farewell tour starting on January 22nd against AEW's FTR.. Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson have been teaming together for almost 40 years, most recently against The Bollywood Boyz in November 2021 at Wrestlecade: Revenge.

The news was broken via a tweet on Ricky Morton's twitter which read:

"Rock & Roll Express Farewell tour begins January 22nd 2022, I want to focus more with Kerry and behind the scenes in the wrestling business.

Specify, Robert and I are retiring from tag team wrestling together. Not appearance/signings. I would like to continue to tag team with my son and work with the younger generation in this glorious business."

It is bittersweet news for myself. On the one hand we are about to say goodbye to one of the greatest and most legendary tag teams that has ever existed but on the other hand it will be exciting to see Ricky Morton and Kerry Morton team together and hopefully take the tag team world by storm.

I would like to thank the Rock N' Roll Express for all their hard work together over the last 40 years and whilst this chapter is closing another one seems to be getting started.
