Ricky Starks Out Of Action With A Fractured Neck.
It's been reported that AEW star Ricky Starks is set to be out indefinitely following a fractured neck injury.
Voices Of Wrestling were the first to report the injury with confirmation by Wrestling News Observer. Starks reportedly suffered the injury on the April 21st episode of Dynamite, where he was going up against "Hangman" Adam Page. During the match Starks suffered a rather nasty landing where he'd attempted to land on his feet after Page had applied a German Suplex.
Instead of landing on his feet, Starks landed on the back of his neck and shoulder area which caused the fracture. The Voices Of Wrestling reports are suggesting that Starks will miss up to three months of in ring action.
Although managing to finish the match with seemingly no ill effects after the mistimed landing, it shows that Starks is a pro and continued to the ending.
Luckily he will not need surgery and fans may still see him on AEW broadcasting in a non-wrestling role.
From all of us at Real Rasslin, we would like to wish Starks on a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in the ring again soon!
