Prince Nana Looks to the Future, not the Past as The Embassy buys out TBE!
Prince Nana has taken to Twitter to make a veiled statement regarding the current mission statement of The Embassy after he acquired Tully Blanchard Enterprises prior to Death Before Dishonor, get the details below!
Death Before Dishonour is being touted as one of the best Pay Per Views of the year. The event will go down in history for several positive factors including the epic 2 oust of 3 Falls battle between FTR and The Briscoe’s over the ROH Tag Team Championship. Unfortunately, with the positive comes the negative also. While Death Before Dishonor was a HUGE night for Claudio Castagnoli, it was also a big night for former ROH Champion, Jonathan Gresham, just in much different way as he failed to retain the championship after a big 224 day reign with ROH’s top title.
The rumours coming out of the AEW/ROH Camp is that both Jonathan Gresham and Tully Blanchard are both gone from the company after the former had been in some very heated discussions with AEW/ROH Owner and President, Tony Khan regarding the direction of his character and career. This heated discussion took place before Death Before Dishonor this past weekend and it has been reported that the exchange between Khan and Gresham was quite volatile.
With the loss of Gresham and Blanchard, Prince Nana was revealed to have bought Tully Blanchard Enterprises during the pre-show to Death Before Dishonor which he has repackaged into a new incarnation of his long standing and legendary ROH Stable, The Embassy. It was a weekend of major acquisitions and wins for The Embassy as Nana managed Brian Cage, Kaun and Toa Liona to a 6 Man Tag Team Victory over the Alex Zayne, Blake Christian and Tony Deppen, with all three men seemingly committed to The Embassy and Nana.
Since last Sunday, Prince Nana has taken to Twitter to make a statement, one that could be seen as a veiled shot at the former ROH Champion. The tweet is detailed below.
WE DONT CRY OVER SPILLED MILK‼️‼️‼️???? WE REASSEMBLE THE TEAM???????????????? #TheEmbassyForever— Prince Nana (@PrinceKingNana) July 25, 2022
Prince Nana does not seem to name anyone in particular, but one could theorise that his Twitter comments were directed at Jonathan Gresham and the heated exchange between him and Tony Khan, which has led to him leaving his employ. As of the time this article was written neither Gresham, Khan nor Blanchard have made any statements publically regarding the situation that unfolded which lead to Gresham and Blanchard no longer working for AEW/ROH.
