A popular WWE tag team has commented on whether or not they are planning to remain united amid potentially seeking singles gold.
After making clear their intentions to become tag team champions yet again, the Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) have commented in a new interview about their goals.
In speaking to Sports Illustrated, the Street Profits discussed whether they can see themselves staying together while still seeking singles gold á la the New Day or Hart Foundation.
Answering the question, Montez Ford said:
“The Hart Foundation and New Day, respect to both crews, but the Street Profits would have to put our flavor on it.
“I’m down with Angelo for the long haul–Angelo is power and speed, he’s a linebacker.
“And for sure, I think we can take the WWE tag team titles and add some singles gold, too.”
Speaking about their partnership inside and out side the ring, Angelo Dawkins said:
“We are brothers in and out of the ring.
“I would like to hold tag team god with Montez while working on some singles accolades, as well. Tez brings that crazy agility to the ring and his personality sets him apart, he gets me hyped.”
The Street Profits have set their sights on the Bloodline (Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga) who are the current WWE Tag Team Champions on SmackDown.
