The opponent has now been confirmed for a current WWE star who’s been announced for the upcoming GCW Bloodsport show.
Charlie Dempsey, who previously appeared at Bloodsport in April, will be doing so again and now is opponent for this time around has been confirmed.
At the upcoming GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI show, Dempsey will face Royce Isaacs.
Josh Barnett wrote in the announcement:
“Two mat grapplers set to lock up and go hold for hold, submission to submission, catch to catch.
“Dempsey proved he belonged in Bloodsport in his last outing, capturing victory in a hard fought match with Matt Makowski.
“Isaacs has been a staple of Bloodsport and was trading hold for hold with submission wizard Minoru Suzuki last time.
“Both are on the rise and both want a souvenir to hang on the wall – a limb taken from a defeated opponent.
“Charlie Dempsey vs Royce Isaacs at Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport XI.”
As previously covered, Dempsey’s fellow WWE stars the Creed Brothers have also been announced for the show, with Julius Creed facing Matt Makowski, and Brutus Creed facing Tom Lawlor.
Shayna Baszler will compete, with her opponent being Miyu Yamashita.
Elsewhere in cross-promotional action, Dempsey will be in the ring tonight with his No Quarter Catch Crew faction in TNA Wrestling last night.
The No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne and Tavion Heights) are set to take on the recently reformed Rascalz featuring Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz from TNA as well as Wes Lee from NXT.
The two trios face off at TNA Wrestling’s Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 20, 2024.
