WWE Star Potentially Bringing Back Old Name Change

WWE may be bringing back a star’s former ring name given a new trademark filing after having previously being shortened.

While in NXT Shotzi Blackheart was known by both first and surname, on the main roster the ‘Blackheart’ was dropped.

However now in a new trademark filing on September 16, WWE has filed to trademark ‘SHOTZI BLACKHEART’.

It’s worth noting that it’s not necessarily confirmed that the Blackheart surname will be returning, it could just a trademark filed for archival content and purposes, but we’ll keep you posted with any updates.

Shotzi has been out of in-ring action since February 2024 when she was injured during a match for the NXT Women’s Championship against Lyra Valkyria.
