WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H bestowed a special gift to a top NBA star at FanaticsFest in New York City.
After already meeting up with the likes of Travis Scott and Lil Baby at FanaticsFest, Triple H has now posted a video of himself alongside Phoenix Suns Power Forward Kevin Durant.
However, this was more than just a handshake and a picture, as Triple H would bestow the all-time NBA great with a special gift calling back to his early beginnings in college.
The Game gifted Durant a special WWE legacy championship of the University of Texas’ famous Texas Longhorns – the team that Durant played for in 2006/2007 prior to being drafted to the NBA.
Posting the video to Twitter, Triple H wrote:
Ran into @KDTrey5 at @FanaticsFest and had to make sure he could (literally) carry the @TexasLonghorns legacy wherever he goes. #HookEm @Fanatics
You can view the exchange between Triple H and Durant down below.
As mentioned one of the big celebrity appearances for the WWE at FanaticsFest was multi-platinum selling rapper Travis Scott – who was unveiled as Rey Mysterio’s special mystery tag team partner during the second night of proceedings at the event (August 17).
