WWE ANNOUNCES TOP NXT STAR FOR UPCOMING MAIN ROSTER SHOW

WWE has announced that a top NXT star will be set to compete at an upcoming main roster event.

On Friday, September 8, WWE hosts Superstar Spectacle from Hyderabad, India, including John Cena’s first-ever match in the country.

However, it seems a future main event player in WWE will get that memorable opportunity far earlier on in his WWE journey as it’s been announced via Twitter that two-time NXT Champion Bron Breakker will also appear at the event.

It’s currently unknown what Breakker will be doing on the card, but it’s another big step in the career of the 25-year-old.

Despite many tipping Breakker to perhaps make the move to either Raw or SmackDown in this year’s draft in the spring, the second-generation star has instead remained on NXT and has been enjoying a new lease of life as a heel.

After moving away from the NXT Title picture, Breakker memorably competed for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship in June before moving on to a program with Von Wagner.

The feud reached new heights on this week’s NXT (September 5) as Breakker went above and beyond to destroy Wagner, brutally attacking him after already winning a scheduled no-disqualifications match.

Also among the confirmed card for Superstar Spectacle are John Cena & Seth Rollins vs. Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Indus Sher, and Natalya vs. Rhea Ripley.

The show isn’t expected to be broadcast anywhere except in India itself.
