Tension between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa
WWE Raw on March 20th 2023 went off the air with Roman Reigns stepping in to stop Bloodline member Solo Sikoa from getting physical with Cody Rhodes.
What we didn’t see was the extra wrinkle that happened after the show had finished, but fortunately, fans in attendance managed to capture it.
The footage showed Roman Reigns lambasting a dejected-looking Solo Sikoa on their way back up the ramp, likely for stepping up to Cody Rhodes without Roman Reigns’ permission.
Cody Rhodes had compared Solo Sikoa’s current situation to when Cody Rhodes himself was in the Legacy group led by then-WWE Champion Randy Orton in 2009, saying that Solo Sikoa wasn’t ready to break out on his own, just like Cody Rhodes wasn’t ready back then.
That annoyed Solo Sikoa who tried to hit Cody Rhodes with a Samoan Spike, but Cody Rhodes managed to stop it with a kick.
When Solo Sikoa tried a second time, it was Roman Reigns who stood up on the apron and held him back.
Roman Reigns didn’t look particularly angry, just concerned, as the show closed, but that sentiment changed when he and Solo Sikoa were walking back up the ramp.
This has become a common theme with Roman Reigns, who also wasn’t happy about the Usos accepting the challenge from Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for a tag title match at WrestleMania.
This, there have been seeds planted for any or all members of the Bloodline to turn on Roman Reigns at some point in the future.
