Two new WWE names have made their in-ring debuts on last night's episode of WWE NXT (October 17).
Jaida Parker took on Karmen Petrovic in an NXT Women’s Breakout tournament match marking her first WWE in-ring appearance on television.
While Petrovic has been featured on Level Up, fans had never seen Parker in the ring before and became acquainted with her tonight, although it was Petrovic who picked up the win.
Also making their television debut in the NXT Women’s Breakout tournament, the substitute for the recently declared unable to compete Jakara Jackson.
Brinley Reece was Jackson’s replacement making her WWE television debut, like Parker, having not yet appeared on NXT Level Up.
Reece was defeated by Arianna Grace who advances to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will take place next week, with Petrovic facing Lola Vice, and Grace facing Kelani Jordan.
In a separate backstage interview with Lash Legend and Oro Mensah, and Noam Dar via telephone, the members of Meta-Four expressed their grave concern for Jakara.
With Dar encouraging her “Jackie, don’t go to the light!” and also commenting that she may “lose her arm,” interviewer McKenzie Mitchell noted that the medical report said Jackson didn’t need surgery, never mind amputation.
Meta-Four hilariously declined to elaborate, rather got frustrated with Mitchell before the segment was cut short by Akira Tozawa who said he was looking for Dar.
Elsewhere on Last Night's NXT, plenty of other action from the women’s division as one of the hosts of Halloween Havoc, Shotzi, picked up a win over Kiana James, who will face Roxanne Perez in a ‘Devil’s Playground’ match at Haloween Havoc.
Also, Gigi Dolin and Blair Davenport are confirmed for a Lights Out match at Halloween Havoc after Dolin resurrected the ‘Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal’ wheel of match stipulations earlier in the night.
