#1 Battle of the Baddies

On this week’s Dark we had the former Baddie in Kiera Hogan go up against the last-baddie-remaining Leila Grey. These ladies fought each other with words, just as much as they did with hard hitting moves! Both of them laying the verbal smackdown on one another at every opportunity.

This was a strong match between the two of them, especially beings as it was mid-card. But it was the current Baddie, Leila, who walked away with a dirty win, after a roll-up and some tights grabbing.

#2 Another Main Event Match

I’ve mentioned her a few times on these Dark Takeaways now, and here she is again. Billie Starkz found herself in another main event, up against another one of AEW’s top Women’s Wrestlers, Toni Storm. And once again a great showing for the 18 year old, with both Taz & Excalibur paying her compliments.

Unfortunately for Starkz, it was Storm who nabbed the win, after she hit the Storm Zero right before the pin. It has to be just a matter of time before Starkz gets her 1st win, or becomes #AllElite. On the upside, she did get an entrance this week!

#3 That was Savage

The Iron Savages were back in tag team action this week, and it was good to see Boulder back alongside his partner, Bronson. They found themselves up against The Wingmen’s Ryan Nemeth & Cezar Bononi. The Savages were impressive, as they always are, showing off their pure power & tag team manoeuvres – leading them to victory. Somewhat of an upset I feel, considering how often Nemeth is used on TV/BTE?
