This week’s Dark came to you from Universal Studios, Florida, with 11 matches, featuring Konosuke Takeshita, Bronson, Dalton Castle & The Boys and more... Here are your Highlights
#1 An Open Challenge

The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels started his night with a backstage interview with Lexy Nair. He started cutting his promo with a no-nonsense approach, stating his 30 years worth of experience will prove more valuable than youth, speed and strength. He ended the promo by issuing an open challenge to anyone willing to step up to the veteran.
Who answered the call?! SAP’s own Serpentico. Accompanied to the ring by fellow SAP members Luther & Angelico, Serp went down in a blaze of glory, as only he can, with CD picking up the 1-2-3.
#2 A Week of Reconciliation!

I’m always happy to be proven wrong, and this week I was just that, wrong. Last week I went on to say that the Trustbusters had dwindled and the Varsity Athletes had broken up for Valentines day... but this week, all was right with these tag teams!
Josh Wood’s was reunited with Tony Nese, and Ari Daivari was lead to the ring with his associates, Sonny Kiss, Jeeves Kay & Slim J. Still no mention of Boudreaux though...
#3 Falling in Love with Suruga

Mei Suruga made her 2023 AEW debut this week, and with it being in singles competition, and no Emi Sakura to steal the spotlight, this Japanese wrestler shone bright. It always feels like the Japanese women are just out to have fun within the ring, much like we’ve seen with Maki Itoh & Sakura, Mei was out to entertain.
Made even more entertaining by Excalibur & Taz’s commentary on Mei’s love of apples, Suruga started beating, and biting, down on her opponent Hyena Hera. Literally taking a chomp on her at every opportunity, even trying to take a bit of referee Bryce Remsburg in her post match celebration!

Bonus moment: We were finally introduced to the Man who had forgotten all about Pac; Gravity! Who in a losing effort, took on Kip Sabian. Fun fact, Gravity is actually Bandido’s brother. #EmbraceTheChange
