Tony Khan Announces Major AEW Production Change

Craig Inglis

We at Real Rasslin have come to learn.

Tony Khan has dropped another announcement to Dynamite fans.

Despite it only being mid-February, Tony Khan has gone on record to say that 2024 will be a landmark year for the promotion. Along with Will Ospreay set to return to the promotion as a full-time member of the roster in a matter of weeks, Mercedes Mone is all but confirmed to appear in March and very strong rumours that Kazuchika Okada will be All Elite very soon, Tony Khan has more news to share.

Addressing the fans on social media on Valentine’s Day, Tony Khan revealed via a poem that a new set is coming to Dynamite. Beginning on March 6th, the red and blue set will be no more and Dynamite will have a brand new presentation moving forward:

AEW Dynamite is red. #AEWDynamite is blue. Until the Wednesday after #AEWRevolution, When we’ll have a brand new set for you! Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you! Spend it with us on Wednesday Night Dynamite, coming up NEXT on @TBSNetworkTONIGHT!

This will be the latest production change in the short history of Dynamite. Previous notable changes have included scrapping the babyface and heel tunnels for one tunnel used by all, LED boards around the ring and barricades and a red a blue theme replacing the multicoloured scheme that debuted in 2019.

Tony Khan Makes Bold Assessment Regarding All Elite Wrestling

Tony Khan will be hoping that the fresh look will be reflected in attendance figures as some Dynamite tapings have seen very low attendances, with reports that some episodes have had less than 2,000 people in the arena. Although there is a cause for concern with ticket sales, Tony Khan has remained optimistic, stating that AEW is the best that it has ever been.
