Recalling a poignant conversation with Mick Foley, Arn Anderson vividly described his initial shock at witnessing Mick Foley’s daring stunts, to which Mick Foley responded with a poignant revelation about his financial struggles. Arn Anderson’s recollection of the exchange epitomised Mick Foley’s unwavering commitment to his craft, despite the physical and financial hardships he endured.
The first time that I witnessed him taking these bumps off the apron to the floor on his back and all that stuff, I went up to him and I said, it’s a famous conversation. I said ‘Jesus Christ, Cactus. You ain’t got no sense.’ And he said, ‘No, Mr. Anderson, I don’t have any money.’ That says it all, don’t it?”
