The Undertaker has featured in many great matches.
The Undertaker’s lengthy WWE career included many memorable moments, but what was his favourite match in his legendary 30-year run?
After debuting for the company in 1990, The Undertaker was prominently featured at the top end of the card, and he enjoyed many battles with the very best that the wrestling world had to offer.
Despite being a multiple time world champion, it was The Undertaker’s impressive Wrestlemania streak that was his most prized possession before it was ended by Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 30 in 2014.
With the annual event being the stage for some of The Undertaker’s most iconic matches, it’s his bout with Shawn Michaels from Wrestlemania 25 in 2009 that stands out as his best contest.
“It has to be WrestleMania 25 with Shawn Michaels. I mean, that was close to perfect that I’d ever been involved in,” said The Undertaker when speaking to Ariel Helwani.
“It was so cool, like, those four matches the two with Shawn and then the two with Triple H.
“You know, that’s the way I look at it and everything’s about storytelling. Like that’s one continuous story. It’s four WrestleMania’s where the story just kind of kept developing, right?
“So, you know, heaven or hell, I think with Shawn was the first which was 25 is about as close to perfect a match that I had I’d ever been in.”
