Shane McMahon, through fellow former WWE star Bully Ray, has put out a statement regarding his private meeting with AEW CEO Tony Khan.
Earlier today, Fightful reported that Shane McMahon and Tony Khan had a meeting this past Monday to discuss “possibilities moving forward”.
On Busted Open After Dark, Bully Ray said that he’d received the following comments from Shane McMahon regarding the story:
“Tony and I were connected through a mutual friend and we had a great meeting.
“We talked about many things, but mostly about our shared love for the business and the rewards and challenges of working with family.
“I congratulated him on the five year anniversary of AEW and look forward to how he evolves the business moving forward.”
CM Punk also commented on the meeting between Tony Khan and Shane McMahon today
