Updated: Apr 13, 2023

Hello Ladies and Gentleman, It's one half of your Irn Bruiserweights here bringing you another Scottish Wrestling Entertainment (SWE) review so let's get into it.

The first contest of the night was a quarter-final match. It was Jay the Jackal from Endeavour v Hugo Harris from Endeavour with the stipulation of they don't do the match properly they will lose the Tag Titles

As the first person was being announced Scotty Riccio came out to announce his brothers from Endeavour out. The match started with both men not taking it seriously. It then started to get serious with both men getting big hits in each other and both kept reversing each other's pins and got dizzy. Hugo Harris got the upper hand.

Your winner by pinfall and advancing to the Semi-Finals is Hugo Harris

I felt the match started poor but as both men started taking it seriously it was a good match

The second match was a quarter-final match and was a 2 out of 3 falls match between Lucha DS V Craig Stephens with Alpha Male

Before the match started GM Bravehart came on the mic ordering Alpha Male to leave ringside as he is still suspended, Alpha Male kept saying he has a managers license but Bravehart doesn’t care and kept demanding him to leave ringside or Craig Stephen forgets the whole match so Alpha Male leaves.

The first pin was then seconds after the start as Lucha hit a cross body off the ropes and then pined Craig Stephens. Craig then went on the offence not being happy with losing the first fall. Craig stayed in the attack with heavy hits and won the second fall by pinfall. The match would go back and forth I’m with both men sharing the upper hand. Lunch DS got more of the upper hand.

Your winner and advancing to the semi-finals by winning 2-1 by pinfall is Lucha DS

I thought this a good watch and thought the crowd was being Lucha the whole way.

The third match and another quarter-final match was Ace Anderson V Craig Forsyth with the loser being kings jester

This match started with both men getting the upper hand on each other where both men could have had the match won but Ace got the upper hand as he got the referee's attention and Craig Forsyth the. Went for the pin

The winner of the match and advancing to the semi-finals by pinfall is Ace Anderson. This makes Craig Forsyth the King's Jester when the King has been crowned.

I thought the crowd where behind Craig Forsyth the whole way it was a good match

The last quarter-final match is a strap match where to win the match all 4 corner turnbuckles need to be touched this was between Rory Shaw and Scotty Riccio with his Endeavour brothers with him.

The match started with Rory getting the upper hand but with the help from Hugo and The Jackal, Scotty got the upper hand for a while and was close to winning the much as he had touched 3 out of the 4 turnbuckles but Rory Shaw stopped him. Rory had the upper hand and only had one turnbuckle to touch to win the match and all 3 of Endeavour were standing in his way so he ran threw them all and touched the last turnbuckle

The winner of the match and advancing to the semi-finals by touching all 4 turn buckles are Rory Shaw

I felt this was a good match both men showing their toughness and wanting the win.

The next match was a singles match with Brian Christie V David Drake

The match started with both men shaking hands and both countering moves and getting the upper hand on each other with Brian getting most of the upper hand

Your winner by pinfall was Brian Christie

I thought this was a good match both men showing what they can do and both showing respect for at the start and end of the match for each other.

The next match continued with the King of the Ring and our first semi-final was Lucha DS V Hugo Harris with Endeavour at ringside

Both men were getting the upper hand on each other as Luch DS had the upper hand The Jackal got involved in the match. The referee sent The jackal to the back and both the Jackal and Scotty Riccio went to the back followed by the referee. The next minute Scotty Riccio comes out in a referee top and The Jackal appears Endeavour start to have a 3 on-1 on Lucha DS but Lucha DS manages to get the upper hand and hits a 619 on all 3 men at the same time.

Your winner of the match and advancing to the finals by pinfall is Lucha DS

I thought this was a really good match with both men showing how they are worth it and how they are 2 of the main guys in the company.

The next match was the second semi-final match with Ace Anderson V Rory Shaw

Both men were showing they were wanting it by getting the upper hand on each other. Both men landed heavy shots on each other but Ace Anderson got most of the upper hands.

The winner by pinfall and advancing to the final is Ace Anderson

This was not a long match but both men showed what they can do.

The next match was Luke Aldridge V Johnny Thunder

Both men hold titles in the company and just before Johnny Thunder come out Luke Aldridge announced he was putting his World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Johnny Thunder came out and said on the mic that he is also putting the Future Division Championship on the line. The match started with both men getting the upper hand on each other until the Alpha Male came out and attacked both men and the referee deemed the match a no-contest.

I thought the match started well as both men wanting to show what they can do

The main event of the evening was the final to crown the King of the Ring with Ace Anderson V Lucha DS

This match had both men going back and forth with these men both having problems with each other and a rivalry before. It quickly went outside of the ring and into the crowd with Lucha DS throwing Ace Anderson off the wall, giving him a nipple cripple and also hitting him with a tube of Pringles. They got back in the ring and Ace Anderson started getting back in the match and getting more of the upper hands

The winner of the match by pinfall and your NEW King Of The Ring is Ace Anderson

I thought this was an amazing match and both men gave it their all and showed what they are capable of

Ace demanded that Craig Forsyth comes out and puts the crown on his head. Craig comes out to the ring and keeps hesitating to put it on then refuses to do it and walks through the back. Bravehart congratulated Ace Anderson and said at the next show Craig Forsyth will crown the King

Overall I thought the show was good. Was a long show to get all the matches in and the crowd were behind the matches.
