The son of legendary boxer is set to have a WWE tryout over this upcoming SummerSlam 2024 weekend according to a new report.
While it is not uncommon for WWE to host tryouts over SummerSlam weekend, one notable name has been revealed in advance of the event as being set to attend.
According to PWInsider, Elijah Holyfield – the son of legendary boxer Evander Holyfield – is planning to attend the WWE tryouts in Cleveland.
An athlete in his own right, Elijah has also played in the NFL as well as college football out of the University of Georgia.
WWE recently announced that, for the first time ever, doors are open for fans to actually watch the tryouts take place through a ‘WWE Priority Pass’ for the weekend.
Elsewhere, SummerSlam weekend is stacked with additional events including a recently announced live show featuring Damian Priest.
The WWE World Heavyweight Champion is set to host ‘Damian Priest Live’ on Friday, August 2 in Cleveland featuring the premiere screening of the new WWE 24 special centered on Priest, as well as a panel with Priest, Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio.
Sami Zayn is also set to host another comedy show, and there’ll be another edition of the Undertaker’s 1 DeadMAN show.
