John Cena has not wrestled on WWE television since WrestleMania 39, where he was defeated by Austin Theory in the opening match of WrestleMania 39.
Cena made one appearance since then, making a surprise appearance at WWE Money In The Bank in London, where he went face-to-face with Grayson Waller.
Well, we now know when the 16-time World Champion will return to our screens again.
Per FOX Sports, Cena is set to appear on the September 1 episode of WWE SmackDown from Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Furthermore, WWE has also confirmed that Cena is set to appear at the WWE Superstar Spectacle show in India the following week.
Cena later confirmed he will actually be wrestling at Superstar Spectacle, not just making an appearance.
Cena recently teased a potential dream match against Intercontinental Champion Gunther on Instagram, which is unlikely to be set up on the show due to Gunther being on the Raw brand.
