Gunther has announced the birth of his son.
Taking to social media to share the positive news, The Intercontinental Champion Gunther posted a picture of himself, his wife Jinny and their newborn child in hospital with the following caption:
“This morning our son entered the world. What a blessing”
The arrival of his first child caps off a very memorable year for The Ring General. Beginning the year strong with an Iron Man performance at the Royal Rumble, the Intercontinental Champion Gunther would go on to break the record for the longest singular reign with the title, surpassing the long-standing previous record set by The Honky Tonk Man.
Jinny announced her retirement from professional wrestling at the start of 2023, having her last match on the NXT UK brand in 2021. The couple announced that they were married in May 2023 following a ceremony that took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in London, England.
Gunther Looks Ahead To WrestleMania
With multiple critically acclaimed performances throughout the year, the Intercontinental Champion Gunther will be looking to have an even bigger 2024. At WrestleMania 39, the leader of Imperium had the match of the weekend as he defeated Sheamus and Drew McIntyre on the second day of the weekend-long show. Hoping to have an even bigger match in Philadelphia, Gunther has publicly stated that he wants to have a dream match at WrestleMania 40.
Everyone at Real Rasslin would like to congratulate Gunther and Jinny on the birth of their son.
