The lineups for the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation tournaments were confirmed on last night’s June 19 AEW Dynamite.
In addition to the reveal, there were two matches in the tournament last night to confirm who is set to advance to the semi-finals.
The lineup for the 2024 women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament was announced to be –
– Willow Nightingale vs. Serena Deeb
– Nyla Rose vs. Kris Statlander
– Deonna Purrazzo vs. Hikaru Shida
– Saraya vs. Mariah May
On tonight’s show, Kris Stalander was successful in her match against Nyla Rose to advance to meet the winner of Serena Deeb vs. Willow Nightingale.
After the win, Nightingale appeared on the screen and reminded Statlander that she hadn’t forgotten about her betrayal.
Nightingale will take on Deeb on AEW Rampage this week to determine who will advance to meet Statlander.
The lineup for the 2024 men’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament was announced to be –
– Claudio Castagnoli vs. PAC
– Bryan Danielson vs. Shingo Takagi
– Rey Fenix vs. Jay White
– Jeff Jarrett vs. ‘Wildcard’
In the show’s main event, Claudio Castagnoli took on PAC in a match that ended in near fall after near fall until finally PAC picked up the victory.
He will go on to face either Bryan Danielson or NJPW’s Shingo Takagi.
The match between Takagi and Danielson will take place at AEW Forbidden Door 2024 on June 30.
