Five Years of Dynamite.

Dynamite is celebrating its Fifth year. I would say that the past five years has been leading up to this but no one would have expected five years ago that the AEW locker room would look like this.

Excalibur was right on the money when he said they were kicking off the night hot. Fans watching live can only hope that this show will be elevated to the sky. Those in attendance start a "This is Awesome" chant from just the two locking up. This is a very fast lucha inspired match. Best thing in the first five minutes of the match is when both flip and plant in the same pose the mirror images just shows they are both familiar and on the same level. Now an early exchanging of blows. Ricochet gets the advantage . Ospreay rolls out and Ricochet uses that to hit a suicide dive. Ospreay slowed down after hitting his head on the floor. He does get the offense back with a spinning heel kick. Ospreay is the first to attempt a pin. Ospreay signals for the Oscutter but Ricochet pulls him back by the trunks preventing that. Ricochet escapes another pin which followed a Spanish Fly. Ospreay does a double underhook grapple on the apron but Richochet lowers his center of gravity stopping that. Ospreay would then go to the corner after a small tussle and do an Oscutter on the apron. Ricochet barely beat a ten count but that was a turning ponit. Ricochet attempts a hurricanrana off the top and Ospreay lands on his feet. Oscutter by Ricochet forces Will to kick out at two. Ospreay flips Ricochet off and gets kicked in the head for the gesture. Twisting Piledriver gets Ricochet a two count. Vertigo blocked by knees to the head. Stundog Millionaire by Will Ospreay. Ospreay nearly ends the match with a Styles Clash and a Oscutter. Seperate pins. Ricochet with a Shooting Star Press almost gave us a new champion. Confusing double pin. Both men's shoulders were on the mat. Rules a draw. Both men want the match restarted along with the fans. Tony Khan agrees. The restart sees the men trading elbow strikes. Konosuke Takeshita interferes. Something that could be predicted from the segment before the match.

TV time with Chris Jericho sets up WrestleDream RoH World Title match of Chris Jericho against Mark Briscoe.

A good follow up to the Ricochet/Ospreay match. Adam Page goes up the ramp and attacks Juice. Juice is able to take this early attack and whips Page with a leather strap from the Lumberjack Match on Collision. The two men fight in the crowd. Hangman has taken back over. Juice protects himself from a piledriver thru a table. The two men battle up the stairs in the arena. The match finally starts and Juice is choking Adam in the ring. Once Aubrey breaks up the illegal move Adam Page is right back on the attack. The punches Hangman threw on the apron looked like ones that Rock Hard Juice Robinson would throw. Juice Robinson is able to land a Superplex. Juice with a series of running elbows then punches. Juice knocks Hangman down into the corner and attempts a cannonball. Hangman rolls out of the ring. This allows Hangman to take over once again. Hangman drops Juice onto the apron. Page back off for just a tiny bit; this tiny bit allows for Robinson to hit a spin buster into the apron. Hangman then goes to the barricade where Robinson breaks it with a cannonball. Hangman catches Robinson as he leaps off the top rope to get back into the ring. Adam Page catches him and does a massive fall away slam into the bottom turnbuckle. Deadeye reversed into a Powebomb for Juice, who only gets a two count. Adam Page grabs Aubrey and kicks Juice in the nuts. Hangman then hits the Buckshot for the victory. Jay White comes back to save Juice Robinson.

An AEW original versus a season veteran. If this stays technical like the opening the victory will surely be once for Deeb. Deeb does a chock block to the knee slowing Baker down. After teasing to do the match the Bucks back out and Jack Perry attacks. Shibata's music hits and the Elite evacuate the ring. Christopher Daniels creates a Trios match of all six me for Rampage.

The complaint department of the Hurt business in Shelton Benjamin. This is either going to shape up to be good or bad. That depends on how people feel about reusing WWE factions.

This is a very odd stipulation to me. It also says that the match will go on for at least 20 mins because why would they give Bryan Danielson both belts. I see Mox and his cohorts stopping the match at the 21 minute mark. The two men tie up and shove each other back and forth. Okada gets Danielson into the corner. Danielson flips it around and does a clean break. A test of strength shows both even. Danielson goes for an arm bar early in the match. Okada misses a drop kick. This starts a the standard chain wrestling sequence. Okada gets in the ropes to halt Bryan Danielson. After five minutes they have gone into the TV overrun. This is a very slow and deliberate match. Okada is used to long matches. Danielson may not be used to them. Bryan does need a faster match and more pin attempts if the fans are supposed to suspend their belief and think the Continental Title is in jeopardy. Danielson misses a diving headbutt. That reminded me of the one Chris Beniot used to take, except Bryan protected his noggin better. Okda ducks clothes line attempts and hits a DDT. Okada attempts a tombstone but Danielson prevents it. Okada drop kicks Danielson off the top rope to the floor. Okada then whips Danielson all around the outside. Danielson reverses an Irish Whip and breaks the count. He then starts to throw Okada around on the outside. Danielson goes inside and flies out with a Suicide Dive. Both men get in the ring. Danielson starts his Yes Kicks. Danielson turns a pin into the LeBell Lock. Okada gets out. The two men start to exchange blows. This is about 17 minutes into the match. Okada with a drop kick takes Bryan Danielson down. Okada goes to the top and hits an elbow drop. Danielson clutches his forearm. Triangle lock off a Rainmaker attempt. Triangle transitioned into a LeBell lock. They announce 19 minutes over the loud speaker. Danielson transitions into another submission. Okada breaks it with a boot on the rope. Okada rolls out of the ring. There is no new Intercontinental Champion. An honest 20 minutes. Okada hits a Tombstone on the outside onto a chair. Okada charges into the corner but Danielson evades. Danielson then starts to chop Okada's chest. Danielson hits a German Suplex after kicking Okada's arm breaking his hold on the ropes. Danielson starts the stomps. Okada gets up and hits a Rainmaker but is unable to make a cover. Seven count. The two men start to trade blows once again. Danielson loses this exchange momentarily. He gets back up and fires off a series of elbows. Busaiku knee nearly wins the match. Short arm Lariat by Okada. The cameras then start to pan the audience showing PAC and Cesaro. Danielson wins with a backslide. Okada hits a Rainmaker after the match. He then flips off Cesaro before grabbing his belt and storming to the back.

Pack and Castignoli then pick Danielson up to his knees. Danielson starts to struggle. Mox and Shafir hit the ring. Wheeler Yuta with a hammer hits the ring and runs Mox and company out of the ring. Mox returns and stares down Yuta. Wheeler will not attack. Danielson attacking te all men back into the ring.

I watch Dynamite live on TBS. That is when I also write this article is as I watch it. So, out of curiosity I pulled up my guide to see what show Dynamite was running over. Coincidentally, Dynamite is scheduled for a full 30 minutes after the usual ending.

Don't forget that Dynamite is on Tuesday next week. Brayan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta against PAC and Claudio Castagnoli.
