CODY RHODES REACTS TO CM PUNK WWE RETURN

Cody Rhodes reacted to the return of CM Punk to WWE to end tonight’s WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2023 event.

When asked in the post-show press conference about CM Punk appearing to close the show, Cody Rhodes had a brief but succinct answer.

Rhodes said:

“I don’t want to be short with my response but it really truly is this:

“If he can help with where we’re going and what we’re doing, absolutely. Welcome aboard. Welcome aboard… I have a feeling that the CM Punk we’re getting is hungry. And that’s the best…

“I’ll give kudos and flowers to Triple H and Nick Khan for getting that done.”

Going on to elaborate on comments he made in his last post-show press conference, Rhodes noted that he believed the WWE locker room was full of the most cohesion he had seen.

Cody said to end his thoughts on Punk:

“It feels like everyone wants to be here, if you can help, absolutely come on board.”

It has certainly been a wild night in WWE as Survivor Series hosted two epic WarGames matches and the top it off, the return of CM Punk to WWE.
