Cody Rhodes Plans For WWE Smackdown Confirmed

Plans for Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes for the August 23 edition of WWE SmackDown have been confirmed.

Taking to Twitter earlier today, Grayson Waller posted a photo of Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, and called Rhodes the ‘bad guy ‘of the ‘story’.

After Rhodes responded and essentially told Waller to invite him to the Grayson Waller Effect to find out what kind of bad guy he could be, now Waller has responded.

In a video posted to Twitter, Grayson Waller said:

“Chill out Codelander, truth hurts huh? But I love this idea, let’s have a chat tomorrow but let’s do it on the most honest and important talk show in the history of WWE, the Grayson Waller Effect.

“You can be the first ever three time guest. You’re welcome for the rub, kid. So let’s all find out together, who Cody Rhodes really is.”

Elsewhere set for the August 23 edition of WWE SmackDown, LA Knight will look to defend his United States Championship in his first title defense as he takes on Santos Escobar.

Also scheduled is a WWE Tag Team Championship defense for Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga of the Bloodline against the Street Profits, as well as Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair and Naomi teaming up against Blair Davenport, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.
