CM Punk Reacts To AEW'S Tony Khan & Shane McMahon Private Meeting

WWE star CM Punk has reacted to the private meeting that took place between AEW CEO Tony Khan and Shane McMahon this week.

Earlier yesterday day, Fightful reported on a meeting that took place between Khan and McMahon this past Monday.

During the meeting, they discussed “possibilities moving forward” as Khan has recently been open about the idea of talking to McMahon and potentially using him in AEW.

On the SI Media With Jimmy Traina podcast, CM Punk was asked about the photo of the two together that we included in our report.

When he was asked if it would shock him if McMahon did join AEW, Punk did provide something of an answer, replying:

“No. I don’t think so.”

However, when initially asked if he had any thoughts on the photo before the follow-up, he simply replied: “Pass”.

Publicly, Khan has said in multiple quotes that he’d be open to talking with McMahon and that he’d be welcome in AEW.
