Charlotte Flair Doesn’t Want The Woman’s Titles Unified
WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair has held plenty of championships in WWE but Charlotte Flair does not have any plans to become the Undisputed WWE Women’s Champion.
In 2016, WWE reintroduced the WWE Women’s Championship, which Charlotte Flair (who was the final WWE Divas Champion) won at WrestleMania 32 at the AT&T in Dallas
The title was later changed to the WWE RAW Women’s Championship, after the 2016 brand split and when WWE SmackDown introduced its title.
Speaking to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Charlotte Flair spoke about the possibility that the two titles could be unified together.
“I don’t recommend a unification program because I feel that would mean less opportunities for the women. It was cool for one of the girls to have both titles at one time, but it takes a lot of spots away.”
Charlotte Flair will defend the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood against 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley.
In 2022, WWE unified their Men’s World Championships and Men’s Tag Team Championships, which are currently held by Roman Reigns and The Usos respectively.
