A Bloodline family member has been confirmed to currently be a part of WWE NXT “right now”.
Last week, it was reported that former MLW star Lance Anoa’i had signed with WWE over the Summer, with the Bloodline family member being spotted sporting an NXT outfit in a photograph posted referee Felix Fernandez.
While an injury has reportedly delayed Anoa’i’s debut, his relative LA Smooth (Lloyd Anoa’i), has confirmed that Anoa’i is indeed a part of NXT, at least for the time being.
In an interview with Keeks and Squeaks, LA Smooth was asked who from his family did he wish to see signed by WWE, to which he confirmed Anoa’i’s status.
He said:
“Jacob Fatu, my nephew, I was waiting for them to pick him up. I’m so blessed. My other nephew, Lance Anoa’i, he’s NXT right now and one that I have right now that I’ll fit, I would actually put my own son in there, because I’m training him. He’s 17 years old, he’s 6’4 and he hasn’t stopped growing. So, you know, could be part of our third generation.”
It’s unclear what WWE’s plans for Anoa’i will be once he’s cleared to make his return from injury, but we will be sure to post further updates when more information becomes available.
Anoa’i may not be the only potential Bloodline member to be set for NXT, with most recent reports stating that Hikuleo would debut on WWE’s third brand rather than the main roster – click here for full details.
Although Lance Anoa'i is currently on the NXT roster I wonder and injured at the moment I wonder if Hikuelo could potentially be involved with the ongoing bloodline story leading towards war games
We at Real Rasslin would like your thoughts on what you think will be next for Lance when he returns from injury and also if You think that Hikuelo will be involved with the bloodline story
