AEW Star Throws Shots At Ricochet's WWE Run Ahead Of Dynamite Debut

An AEW star has thrown shots at Ricochet’s WWE run ahead of the new AEW signing’s first match on Dynamite this Wednesday (August 28).

Shortly after making his debut in the AEW All In London Casino Gauntlet match, former WWE star Ricochet was formally challenged to his first match on AEW Dynamite this coming Wednesday by The Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher.

In a digital exclusive, Fletcher and Callis threw the challenge out to Ricochet, which then led to a lengthy back-and-forth between the two men on Twitter.

It started when Fletcher retweeted the video of his challenge for Dynamite, along with the message:

I waste no time wanna welcome you personally, @KingRicochet

Clearly not impressed by Fletcher’s boldness, Ricochet responded with:

Shuuuut uuup! Ugh

To which Fletcher then responded in his bit of shade throwing regarding Ricochet’s six year stint in WWE, writing:

wow seems like you learnt a lot of sick comebacks in your sabbatical from professional wrestling

Ricochet then wrote in response:

You’re just so annoying, I’m trying to keep the interactions between us as brief as possible.

Which then led to another blatant shot at Ricochet’s time in WWE, referencing his recent run as the inaugural WWE Speed Champion prior to departing the company in early July. Fletcher wrote:

you know all about “brief” Mr Speed

In his defence Ricochet would place emphasis on the fact that he was still a champion during his spell on WWE Speed, writing:

Wait…why is being a CHAMPION a bad thing?? Plus, I hate to say it but more people watch those matches than one of yours. But don’t worry, I’ll change that for you.

As of now that is where the exchange stopped, with it being just a few short days until we see both Ricochet and Fletcher put their words into action on Dynamite.
