We at Real Rasslin have come to learn.
AEW's Jim Ross has taken to Twitter (X) to reveal he's out of a rehab facility as he recovers from a broken hip.
Good ol' Jim Ross noted how he's improving daily, is using a cane to help him get by, and has managed to spend a first full day at Jacksonville Beach.
This news comes on the back of Jim Ross revealing earlier this month that he'd had cancer surgery on his right hip.
Jim Ross has been with AEW since 2019, although it appears he's nowadays working without a contract. Jim Ross has stated several times on his Grillin' JR podcast that his AEW deal was to expire on 14th February 2024, and there's been no word yet on any extension having been signed.
For Jim Ross' part, he's talked up how he'd be happy to re-sign with AEW, particularly in the hope of calling Sting's final match at Revolution next month. With the Revolution taking place from the Greensboro Coliseum, it would certainly be fitting if Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone were at the announce desk as the Stinger and Darby Allin defended the AEW Tag Team Titles against the Young Bucks.
Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone as well as Bob Caudle were on the call when Sting and Ric Flair faced off at the Greensboro Coliseum for the first ever NWA Clash of the Champions event, where Sting and Ric Flair went to a 45-minute time limit draw for the Nature Boy's NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
