Welcome everyone to this weeks episode of AEW Rampage and we are kicking things off with what is sure to be a straight up fight between solid guys so lets get to the action.
MATCH 1: MARK BRISCOE VS THE BUTCHER
A test of strength to begin this one as it quickly turns into a lockup. Stalemate for both men as another lockup occurs. Into the corner where Mark is able to get off some strikes. Briscoe hits some redneck kung-fu before throwing his body into Butcher on the outside. Back inside the ring, Briscoe hits a dropkick followed by a snap mare. Briscoe tries for the J-driller but Butcher counters and ends up hitting a lariat for a near fall. Butcher lands right-handed heavy chops! Briscoe tries coming back with chops of his own. Butcher hits a vertical suplex. Butcher has Briscoe in a headlock as Briscoe fights out. A swing and miss by Butcher as Briscoe hits an enziguri. Flying forearms up Butcher ends up getting a boot up to the face. Briscoe hits a Death Valley driver before climbing to the top. No one is home as Butcher hits a half Nelson and a jackhammer as Briscoe kicks out! Butcher is hammering away now as he has Briscoe on the top rope. Briscoe hits a series of karate chops to the neck as it sends Butcher crashing. Briscoe hits the froggie splash for the win!

Strong opening match here. Another defeat for Butcher though.
MATCH 2: KYLIE O’REILLY VS AARON SOLO
Reilly hits a lockup around the waist before transitioning to a takedown. Solo counters and slaps Reilly in the face. Reilly escapes a leg capture as he hits a few palm strikes and kicks. Solo with a blow to the midsection as Reilly kicks him in the midsection. Reilly compresses the arm as he drives his knee into the arm and back, followed by a knee strike. Reilly comes in with more knee strikes before Solo sends him shoulder-first into the canvas. Solo follows it up with a flurry of strikes before hitting an exploder for a one count. Reilly hits a running knee to to midsection followed by strikes to the body, face, and a leg sweep! A running elbow strike follows before Solo hits a corkscrew. Reilly coming back with a kicking/strike combo before hitting a guillotine submission hold for the win!

Really good to see Aaron Solo get some TV time. Its been a while since we have seen him. This was probably the closest to a squash without being a squash we could get.
Post-match, Reilly calls out Okada for a match at Battle of the Belts .
MATCH 3: ANNA JAY VS TRISH ADORA
Trish with a lockup and headlock takedown while rubbing her behind on Anna’s back. Anna is able to break as both women come back to a vertical base. Anna hits a snapmare. Hip toss blocked as Anna comes in with a pretty sidekick followed by a dropkick. Back to the in-ring action. Anna hits a flipping neckbreaker before going for the cover. It is a two-count as Trish hits a German suplex after Anna swings and misses with a kick. Trish hits a clothesline before hitting a suplex with a bridge pin attempt. It is another kick out as Trish misses a strike as Anna hits the widows peak for the victory

A predictable outcome with Anna Jay facing Mariah May soon. Obviously she loses that and her push gets halted.
MATCH 4: PRIVATE PARTY VS MXM COLLECTION
Quen and Mansoor start off our main event. Soon Kassidy and Madden are tagged before Mansoor tags himself back into the ring. Arm drag by Kassidy as he and Quen go for some double-team action on both men. Quen is sent crashing to the floor by Mansoor before he is tossed back into the ring. Quen kicks out of a pin attempt by Madden.
Quen is fighting Mansoor but it is too much. Madden is tagged as a neckbreaker/powerbomb combo and is applied for a near fall. Mansoor is tagged as he gets Quen in a full nelson. Quen hits a rollup as Mansoor breaks free and tags Kassidy! Kassidy hits repeated shots at Mansoor. Kassidy kicks Madden in the midsection before hitting a spinning flatliner on Madden. Kassidy hits a flying crossbody on Mansoor for another near fall. Mansoor avoids the silly string as he hits a Death Valley driver! Quen saves the match by breaking up the pinfall attempt. MXM hit a chokeslam on Kassidy who kicks out! Kassidy with strikes and chops as Private Party hits silly string on Madden. In comes Mansoor as Kassidy hits the flying cutter! Kassidy hits a rolling carry as Quen hits a 450 splash! Kassidy follows up with a back-flying senton for the win

Decent main event. Private Party really making the most of this push and MXM really are growing on everybody. Good stuff.
Not a bad Rampage this week with no real squash matches which makes a change. We still don’t know how long we will have Rampage for so lets make the most of it whilst we have it. thanks for joining guys. See you tomorrow for Collision.
