AEW Dynamite: Former WWE Champion makes a BIG return on the show

In a turn of events that left the fans both shocked and elated, former WWE Champion Paul Wight made a grand re-entry into the AEW Dynamite ring. The wrestling world buzzed with excitement as Paul Wight, once a dominant force in WWE, marked his return spectacularly.

On the recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Paul Wight made his presence felt in a big way. After Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega secured a victory over Angelo Parker & Matt Menard in a tag team match, the atmosphere grew tense.

Don Callis and his crew descended to the ring, throwing down a challenge for a Street Fight scheduled for the following week.

As the tension escalated, Kenny Omega mentioned that Kota Ibushi would be joining them for the upcoming fight. Chris Jericho, not to be outdone, hinted at having a close ally by his side. And then, to the astonishment of fans, Paul Wight made his dramatic entrance, confirming his alliance with Chris Jericho.

Paul Wight competes on AEW Dynamite

Paul Wight’s last match for All Elite Wrestling took place in 2022, when he faced Austin Green in a match for the YouTube show AEW Dark: Elevation.

As of writing, Paul Wight has only had four matches for the promotion thus far, with his main role in the company being on commentary for the aforementioned now-defunct YouTube show Elevation.

It is not known if this will be a long-term return to the ring for the former Big Show, but we should at least get one big showcase match for the giant.
