AEW All Out: This could be the most violent match in AEW history

This could be the most violent match in AEW history

Hangman Page was sent off the deep end last year when Swerve Strickland broke into his home and threatened his toddler. HangmanAdam Page tried to unleash the most disturbing Cowboy Shit you’ve ever seen when they fought each other in a Texas Death Match at Full Gear 2023, but Swerve ultimately won the fight.

Swerve Strickland went on to reach the highest levels of success in AEW in 2024, winning the world championship and becoming a face of the company. Hangman Adam Page's mental breakdown continued while all of this was going on. Nothing mattered more to him than burning Swerve’s world to the ground. So that’s what he finally did on this week’s episode of Dynamite.

Swerve Strickland made a lifelong dream come true when he bought his childhood home. That’s when Hangman Adam Page finally saw the best way to get revenge on Swerve Strickland. As Swerve Strickland was forced to watch on from the ring, Hangman Adam Page showed up at the property and burned down Swerve’s childhood home. Swerve was brought to his knees in agony, helpless to do anything about it, while Hangman calmly sat down for a drink as the flames raged behind him.

Now these two men are out to kill each other in an extremely dangerous match that AEW will not sanction. It’s going to be Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Adam Page in a Lights Out Steel Cage match. Given the buildup to this fight, as well as their previous wars against each other, this could very well be the most violent match in AEW history.

How far will Swerve Strickland go to destroy the psychotic man who just burned down his house? We’ll find out the answer to that question tonight at All Out.
