IWGP United States Title Changes Hands at NJPW Capitol Collision!

Capitol Collision was capped off with an outstanding 4 Way Match for Hiroshi Tanahashi’s IWGP United States Championship, but Ace did not walk out as champion when the dust had settled… Juice Robinson emerged as the victor on this night as captured the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship when he pinned Will Ospreay that also included former AEW World Champion and IWGP Unuted Staes Heavyweight Champion, Jon Moxley!

With this victory it marks the third time Robinson has held the title. His first reign was in 2018 that ran from July 7th to September 30th. His second reign was in 2019 when he captured the title on January 4th and lost it on June 5th. Robinson has racked up two impressive reigns over his last two tenures as champion, it will be very interesting to see what he does the third time round, and especially now since he has aligned himself with Bullet Club.

Tanahashi had been champion since May 1st after he defeated Tomohiro Ishii at Wrestling Dontaku to capture the title. Below are several Tweets with highlights from the suspenseful match.

What do you think about this title change? Do you think Juice Robinson was the right person to win at Capitol Collision?
