Gresham vs. Sabin for ROH Title Announced for Hard to Kill!
Impact Wrestling announced via Twitter historic ROH Championship Match for Hard to Kill on January 8th.
On January 8th 2022 Impact Wrestling will be holding its first Pay Per View of the year and it is truly shaping up to be a historical night that fans will not forget. Earlier today Impact Wrestling announced that ROH Champion Jonathon Gresham will not only be present at the event, but that he will also be defending his newly won title for the first time against Ring of Honor Alum and Former TNA World Champion, Chris Sabin!

Chris Sabin is one of the greatest Champions in TNA/Impact Wrestling history. Sabin has held the TNA Tag Team Titles; the TNA World Heavyweight Title and he has also held the X-Division Title and was one of the divisions stand out stars for years. When fans think of the X-Division Chris Sabin’s name is one of the names that comes to mind as one of the cornerstones of the division.
Gresham won the ROH Championship in the main event of ROH Final Battle against former opponent and teammate Jay Lethal in a thrilling contest. Gresham was set to face Bandido for the ROH World Championship, but Bandido had to pull out due to a positive COVID Test Result and thus the ROH Championship was announced as up for grabs in the World Championship’s place. In what is going to be a historic showdown between two of the most talented and prolific wrestlers of this generation, everyone will be on the edge of their seats to see who will gain the upper hand and walk out with not only the win but the ROH Championship.
