WWE has gone on another Releasing Spree, this time NXT Officials and Off-screen Staff were released.

It’s been another wild week regarding news coming out from the Stamford Office for World Wrestling Entertainment. Another round of Releases has been revealed and confirmed, this time it seems that there are a lot of NXT Offscreen Staff included in this round. WWE has let go a total of 12 staff with William Regal and Brian “Road Dogg” James being the most notable names this time around. Sean Ross Sapp over at Fightful and Mike Johnson over at PWInsider have both broken developing news in relation to this evolving story. WWE has released the following statement regarding the releases.

“With the continued evolution of NXT 2.0, we’ve decided to part ways with some of the staff based in our Performance Center. We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them the best.”

At this time, here is a complete list of the released talent, as confirmed by WWE.

  • William Regal: Director of Talent Development, Head of Global Recruiting, & NXT General Manager.
  • Brian 'Road Dogg' James:
  • Scott Armstrong: Producer & Referee.
  • Timothy Thatcher: Wrestler (PC coach since being taken off television some months ago).
  • Danny Burch: Wrestler (PC coach since being taken off television some months ago).
  • Hideki 'Hachiman' Suzuki: Performance Center Coach & Diamond Mine onscreen associate.
  • Sarah Cummins: Senior Vice President of Consumer Goods.
  • Chris Guy: Performance Center Coach.
  • Dave Kapoor: Writer
  • Ryan Katz: NXT Creative Producer.
  • Cathy Corino: Coach
  • George Carroll: Producer

One has to wonder if there will be any further cuts to the now “Colourful” development brand of WWE moving forward or if this is the last news we will see regarding releases for the time being.
