Former WWE NXT star Taynara Conti has signed with AEW
From one Black and Gold brand to another.
As of this afternoon, it has been reported that former NXT Superstar Taynara Conti has signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW)
The Brazilian signed with WWE's NXT brand in 2017.
Conti had appeared in the 2018 Mae Young Classic where she defeated Jessie Elaban in the first round, but later lost to Lacey Evans in the second round.
Conti's contract with WWE came to an end on April 17th of this year during WWE's company wide budget cuts due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
On August 1st Conti had appeared in a tag team match in AEW during the women's tag team cup tournament.
She had teamed with Anna Jay as they had drawn the same colour token in the deadly draw.
The two went on to beat Nyla Rose and Ariane Andrew during the first round thus advancing them to the semi finals of the tournament.
Eventually they were beaten by the team of Ivelisse and Diamante.
During the August 27th episode of Dynamite!, The Dark Order extended an offer to Conti to join their group, which she accepted.
We at Real Rasslin hope that Conti thrives within All Elite Wrestling!
