Daniel Garcia announce for PWG Battle of Los Angeles; Updated entrants

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla have made a new announcement relating to the next entrant into the Battle of Los Angeles tournament slated for next year on January 29th and 30th.

The next entrant into the iconic independent promotion’s tournament will be none other than… DANIEL GARCIA!

PWG Made the announcement on December 13th via their Twitter account, which you can see down below;

Garcia signed on with All Elite Wrestling earlier this year and he has proved to be a talented and entertaining acquisition. He has feuded with and had notable matches against the likes of Darby Allin, Jon Moxley and CM Punk thus far. Garcia built himself a fierce reputation on the independent scene before his AEW Signing, having competed all over the United States and this past November he competed at PWG’s It’s A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock ‘n’ Roll).

With Garcia’s announcement, the updated line up for the tournament currently stands at 6 entrants. The updated list of entrants into this year’s tournament is as follows;

Alex Shelley

Kevin Blackwood

Lio Rush

Black Taurus

Daniel Garcia

The Battle of Los Angeles tournament is a cornerstone of the independent wrestling calendar and in 2022 the tournament will be held for the first time in two years, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. With the annual Battle of Los Angeles tournament being such an important event for not only PWG but the American Independent Wrestling Scene it is surely going to be one to watch after such a hiatus. With so many current prominent wrestlers having won the tournament previously, such as Kenny Omega, El Generico aka Sami Zayn, Adam Cole, and Ricochet, this year’s tournament could catapult any one of the current or future entrants into wrestling superstardom, could it be Daniel Garcia who emerges victorious? Only time will tell!
