Brody King Is Officially All Elite!
Brody King has officially made his debut for All Elite Wrestling this week on AEW Dynamite, seemingly joining the House of Black!
Back in December, not long before Christmas there was speculation that ROH Wrestler Brody King had signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling, due to the announcement that ROH would be going on hiatus. This move made a lot of sense considering that King’s PWG Tag Team Partner Malakai Black is also signed with the All Elite promotion, especially after Black has hinted recently that some one would be joining him in the "House of Black".
This week on the January 12th edition of AEW Dynamite it featured the AEW debut of Brody King as he assisted Malakai Black in taking out Penta El Zero Meido, Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison. While statistically the three men had the numbers advantage over Black it was not meant to last. The lights in the arena went out and when they came back on King was standing there, in the centre of the ring.
After Dynamite had aired, All Elite Wrestling made the announcement official via Twitter that Brody King has indeed signed a contract with the promotion. Over the last several years of his career on top of independent dates, Brody King has spent a vast amount of his time working for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Ring of Honour and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla where he holds the PWG World Tag Team Championship with Malakai Black.
Brody King and Malakai Black are known collectively as “The Kings of the Black Throne” over in PWG but with King’s addition to AEW it seems that Malakai Black’s “House of Black” stable is starting to take shape after some cryptic messages in video packages that have aired recently.
Brody Kings next scheduled appearance outside of AEW is on January 15th in Seattle, Washington when he will appear on NJPW Strong facing off against Yuya Uemura.
