Big E expected to make full recovery
In a recent interview with Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Former WWE Champion Big E has revealed that he is expected to make a full recovery from his neck injury. He went on to say that he understands how lucky he is, considering this injury has caused strokes, paralysis and even death in others.
He went on to thank everyone who has checked up on him, he's also confirmed he has no hard feeling toward Ridge Holland, who caused the injury. Regarding the situation, Big E said:
“Honestly, it hasn’t been a dark period, I’m so thankful for all the people who checked in on me and reached out, who have concerns. I’m not saying I’m perfect. I’m not saying every day is the greatest ever for me. But I really haven’t struggled with that type of stuff.”
“I have no issue whatsoever with Ridge, He’s reached out and said some very kind things. … What we do is dangerous, and there are inherent dangers. And to that degree, we all kind of know what we sign up for and it was unfortunate that it went down that way. But I’m not dead. I’m alive. I’m doing well.”
Following the interview and responding to a tweet regarding his injury, Big E had this to say:
I refer to the rest of my life as “the bonus years.” I’m playing with house money now! About to get that limb lengthening surgery and be the 6 foot king I always dreamed of!— Ettore “Big E” Ewen (@WWEBigE) July 13, 2022
Hopefully we will see a full in ring return from Big E, but most of all, we are all undoubtedly happy that he will make a recovery.
