AJ Styles Makes Slammiversary Appearance!

The past weekends Impact Wrestling Slammiversary Pay Per View saw a number of huge moments which included new champions crowned and a slew of ex-Impact/TNA wrestlers make appearances on the show to congratulate the company of the 20 year anniversary milestone. The fans saw a new Knockouts Champion, Knockouts Tag Team Champions, X-Division Champion and World Tag Team Champions crowned at the big event but one of the biggest surprises was when AJ Style, the Phenomenal One made an appearance via a video message.

Styles was very gracious in his speech where he thanked WWE for giving him the opportunity to appear as they understand how special of a moment this was for Styles. AJ als commented on being voted the most Impactful X-Division Wrestler and the Most Impactful Male Wrestler of the past 20 years. Styles went on to talk about being in the first-ever match on TNA back in 2002 alongside Jerry Lynn and Low-Ki and how much that match means to him when thinking of his career as well as a monumental Triple Threat Match from Unbreakable 2005 that also included Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels stating that they changed the business that night.

Styles worked for the company from its inception and was a cornerstone wrestler for the promotion. He was a Grand Slam Champion and one of the very foundations that helped build TNA/Impact Wrestling. Styles worked for the company from 2002 up to 2013, in that time winning every top title in the company.
