As first reported by Fox Sports, the newest inductee into the WWE Hall Of Fame will be Rob Van Dam (RVD) 

With Fox Sports and WWE officially making the announcement, the ECW original and former ECW and WWE Champion will make his way into the hall of legends. Making his name in ECW, RVD put on classic matches and electrified fans with his high flying antics and his adaption in style made him a much loved figure within the promotion. He also held the record for longest reigning TV champion in the company's history. 

RVD joined the WWE in 2001 during the invasion angle alongside WCW. He would go on to become a multiple time champion and leave a legacy in the company. He will go in alongside Molly Holly, Great Khali, Kane and Eric Bischoff in this years class.
