It's been announced that QPW will be the first international company to hold an event, that will feature talent from both WWE and AEW on the same show.

The owner of QPW and promoter of the company Ali Al-Marafi has confirmed the news to Michael Morales of Luch Libra Online, that QPW Superslam3 will be held on February 26th 2022 and will be held at the Lausail Sports Arena in the city of Doha. The venue will have a capacity to seat over 20,000 people. The event will feature more then 25 international superstars, making this the biggest professional wrestling event in Qatar's history.

Alongside this, fans will be greeted by a special appearance by WWE's two time Hall Of Famer, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, as a special guest referee at the event. This will also be his debut in Qatar.

This isn't the only big name set to make a special appearance, as another two time Hall Of Famer and 6-time world Heavyweight Champion, Booker T, will be involved in the same event and will come directly from WWE. This will be the first time that an international event will see current WWE and AEW talents working together in one show.

Other names that have also been annouced to make appearances are:

  • "The Spanish God" Sammy Guevara (AEW)
  • "The Machine" Brian Cage (AEW)
  • Cinta De Oro (formerly known as Sin Cara in WWE)
  • EC3 (ROH)
  • "The Aerial Asassin" Will Ospraey (NJPW)
