AEW star Anna Jay suffers shoulder injury
The Dark Order has 99 problems and Anna Jay is one.
It has been reported today that AEW Dynamite star Anna Jay has been pulled out of the Women's Championship eliminator tournament.
In a recent tweet earlier today, All Elite Wrestling had announced that Jay is in need of shoulder surgery, and will be out of action for an expected 6-12 months. The tweet also revealed that Madi Wrenkowski, who was a replacement in the tournament, will take her place. Jay was scheduled to take on Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D on Monday, but Wrenkowski will now take her place.
Those who watch AEW Dark will be familiar with Wrenkowski, who has made a few appearances on the show, is a protégé of the former NWA Women's Champion, Thunder Rosa.
Jay had tweeted out to fans and briefly discussed her injury, where she had vowed to come back better than ever. She went on to thank fans for their support.
We here at Real Rasslin wish Anna a very speedy recovery and hope to see her back soon.
